Méabh is in her final year of the Bachelor of Music degree in the MTU Cork School of Music, studying under Mary Beattie. She began studying piano with Susan Cap at the age of six in the MTU Cork School of Music where she was on consistent scholarship between 2008 and 2018. In 2011, she was awarded the Junior Minora Medal for being the most distinguished student in the Junior Cycle. She was also awarded the Intermediate and Senior Minora Medals in 2014 and 2018, respectively. Other awards within the school include the highest placed pianist in the Junior Recital Competition 2015, a competition in which she was a finalist three times. She was also a finalist in both the Senior and Advanced Recital competitions and the winner of the Junior Concerto Competition in 2016.

Méabh has been taking part in Feis Maitiú for many where she has been a multiple first prize winner. She has also had many successes in Feis Ceoil, most recently being Very Highly Commended in the John Benson Memorial Cup for Bach playing. In 2016, Méabh was selected to participate in the Dublin International Piano Competition’s William Finlay Programme for Gifted Young Pianists. This programme allowed her the opportunity to perform in various venues around Ireland and receive masterclasses and intensive coaching in a variety of areas related to the piano. She has received masterclasses from pianists such as Barry Douglas, Philip Martin and Einer Steen-Nokleberg.

Méabh is also a cellist in the MTU Cork School of Music Symphony Orchestra and sings with Cappella Lyrica, an award-winning equal-voiced choir in the school. In 2019, Méabh began studying Jazz and Contemporary Music Performance in Dublin City University. She studied jazz piano under Greg Felton for two years before returning to the Cork School of Music to continue her studies in classical music.
