Lucas graduated this year with a First Class Honours from the BMus performance degree in TU Dublin. Lucas was brought up in a musical home with both his mother and grandmother being professional pianists and began to play the piano at four years old under the guidance of his mother, Gogoshka Kinkladze.

Upon entering the TU Dublin Conservatory, he began studying with Pádhraic Ó Chuinneagáin and has during this time participated in masterclasses with multiple notable artists such as Barry Douglas, Eteri Andjaparidze, and John O’Connor, among others.

Lucas has received first place prizes in several competitions and has recorded the solo piano music for the TU Dublin advertisement which was aired January 2020. Outside of classical performance Lucas has a keen interest in jazz and improvised music as well as composition, having composed music for numerous short films as well as for a recent multimedia photography exhibition at Safehouse in Peckham, London.
