Julia was born near Barcelona, Spain. She started violin at five years old with Tatiana Bilba. At seven years old she started piano and ballet and hasn’t stopped enjoying them since.

Julia got her Bachelor’s degreee in music in the “Haute École de Musique de Genèvesite Neuchâtel” in Switzerland with violin teacher Sergey Ostrovsky. She later studied privately with international soloist Sebastian Bohren.

She has played in several youth orchestras such as the JONC Alevins (Jove Orquestra National de Catalunya), JOSV (Jove Orquestra Simf nica del Vallès), and JOCG (Jove Orquestra de les Comarques Gironines). She has performed under the batons of Ton Koopman, Manel Valdivieso, and Juanjo Mena.

Julia’s first solo performance with orchestra was at the age of eleven playing Kreisler’s “Praeludium und Allegro”. In 2020, she performed Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 2 in D major as guest soloist with the Orquestra Simf nica de Sant Cugat (Barcelona).

She is now studying with violinist André Swanepoel in the Masters Program at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick.

Julia loves to learn new skills such as tap dance, Indian tablas, aerial dance, and Ragtime piano in order to enhance her artistic perspective.
