Eimear began her musical studies in piano and cello at MTU School Of Music. At age 11 she began Irish harp with Denise Kelly McDonald in DIT, transferring to concert harp at 13. She has just completed her second year in the Bachelor of Music course at TU Dublin Conservatoire, studying with Dr. Cliona Doris.

Eimear was the first prize winner in the Junior and Senior Harp competitions at Dublin Feis Ceoil, and winner of the String Competition in Sligo Feis Ceoil. In 2019 she was a finalist in the Frank Maher competition and was also an award winner at the London Camac Harp Festival in 2020.

Most recently, Eimear was awarded first place in the TU Dublin Conservatoire Senior Orchestral Recital Competition 2022. She was harpist with the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland from 2017 to 2020 and played with Cork Youth Orchestra and the Cork Fleischman Symphony Orchestra.

Eimear participated in masterclasses with Eleanor Bennett, Isabelle Perrin, Agnes Clement and Elizabeth Hainen. In May 2022, she performed the Mozart Flute and Harp concerto alongside Maria Mulcahy with the Cork Fleischman Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Keith Pascoe.
