Rowel Friers has been thrilling audiences since the age of 5 and his ambition is to become an internationally recognised concert pianist.
Winning his first competition in 2007, and regularly finding more success in competitions over the years including in Belgium and Italy, Rowel continues on his musical journey to fulfil his dreams. Today he enjoys playing a wide-ranging repertoire from classical to jazz, extrovert to intimate, bravado to reflective. Rowel is currently studying for a BMus Performance degree at RIAM Dublin and is under the piano tutelage of Professor Réamonn Keary. |
